Kirkendall North Friendly Streets for Vision Zero Survey

In conjunction with the priorities set forth by the community in the Kirkendall Neighbourhood Strategy, Environment Hamilton is beginning the work of a Friendly Street audit focusing on Vision Zero principals.

Friendly Streets engages community residents and stakeholders in working together towards friendlier and safer streets for walking, wheeling/cycling in Hamilton neighbourhoods.

Vision Zero is a global movement transforming the way we use, interact and travel on our roads. It has a simple and clear goal: ZERO fatalities or serious injuries on roadways. Vision Zero aims for safer streets through improved education, enforcement, engineering, evaluation and engagement.

Friendly Streets for Vision Zero Hamilton is a new, year-long partnership with the City of Hamilton to explore solutions to traffic safety concerns and improved neighbourhood livability.

This is the prime opportunity to identify areas of concern on the streets on which you live, work and play.

Please take a few minutes to participate in the SURVEY. The result will help determine where the evaluations take place.
