The City has issued the following notice regarding upcoming construction on Main Street West: overnight work and some lane closures on Main Street West at

Project:  Main St W, Watermain Lining - Contract C13-03-24(2026)

Dates: June 22-26, 2026  [Notice]  

Work Hours: Mainly day work, some overnight, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM [Weather permitting]

Water shutdowns may occur. Affected homes will receive notice.

Traffic is expected to be down to 1 LANE on Main Street West between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM each night

To minimize impacts to daytime water use and rush-hour traffic, this work must be completed overnight. Please note that there will be increased noise during evening hours. Crews will make every effort to complete the work efficiently and reduce disruption where possible.
